Across the William Lehman Causeway from Aventura, Sunny Isles Beach Real Estate was once home to dozens of two-story motels and resorts built in the 1950s. Today, the beach side of Collins Avenue/A1A is lined with glittering condo/hotel buildings, including the Aqualina and the Trump Tower. The western side of Collins Avenue has shopping plazas with everything visitors and residents need, including Epicure Gourmet market, as well as side streets that lead back into unexpectedly quiet, deeply shaded neighborhoods of both moderate and large single-family homes. Further west, new mid and high-rise condos overlook the Intracoastal Waterway.

Just south of the Broward County line, Sunny Isles Beach Condos is minutes from Hallandale Beach’s Village at Gulfstream Park, as well as Aventura Mall to the west and the Bal Harbour Shops to the south. Where Collins intersects Sunny Isles Boulevard/163rd Street, a historic wooden fishing pier with public beach access extends over the water. If Collins Avenue is followed to the south, it meanders through the North and Mid-Beach sections of Miami Beach, and can be taken all the way to South Pointe Park.

Via both the Lehman Causeway and 163rd Street, Sunny Isles Beach residents can quickly access US 1 and continue west to I-95, then to the commercial centers of either Ft. Lauderdale or Downtown Miami.
